This years festival includes tamale eating contest

Lufkin — The Lufkin Daily News is reporting; the fifth annual Tamale Festival will be held from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday at Old Settlers Park in Diboll.

Diboll Civic Center director Sarah Thompson said she hopes to see continued growth in the festival’s fifth year.
