When it comes to political lines---- every district has the same number of people but not necessarily the same number of adults.

And, not all residents are citizens.

In East Texas Senate District 6,  the overall population is a little more than 843-thousand.

And the Citizen Voting Age Population,  which is a little more than 603-thousand, accounts for more.

The Texas Legislative Council built the district-by-district data from five-year American Community Survey data provided by the U.S. Census Bureau.
