What a story to discuss!!!! Is our Country headed for a moral decline????? What a question......whoever has not realized that by now, is just plain dumb, blind to the facts as they are, and morally a moron. Look at all the illegitimate children born to our young girls. Where are their morals??? Not exactly their fault. Mothers put their young girls on birth control pills at 13 & 14 years old, but then we still have all these children having children. It is what the generations before them did and what can you expect from our younger generation? No morals and getting worse every day. Look what they are exposed to on TV and at the movies!!!! Morals have gone down the drain and I don't see where there is a way to turn it around. The Devil is working very hard on our young people....God does not do that!

CONDOMS OR NOT,DISEASE OR NOT,MORALITY IN AMERICA IS LONG GONE!!!

Okay, logic fail. How does the STD problem translate to 'moral collapse' anyway? Can you define that term? Do you mean that god will come down and smite us? (Hahaha, no.) What people do in their bedrooms isn't anyone else's business.
And don't you just *love* how the callers assume that the victims of these diseases are promiscuous. Like you said many don't know they have it, and it only takes one sick partner to get it.
And we DO need more education, teach these people that they should be using a condom EVERY time. It doesn't help that the catholic church is spreading the LIE that condoms don't work. The reason black women have the highest instances of the disease is because they have the lowest education, and the least empowerment.
When you educate and empower women birth rates, and STD rates go down. That has been shown to be the case all over the world time and time again.
Turning a story about STD rates and disease control into a shout out for morality, shame on you, what about impartiality KETK?
Do I think America is headed for a moral collapse? In my opinion it is already in a moral decline just like the rest of the world. As far as a moral collapse goes to me it is not a matter of if it is more a matter of how much longer until there is an absolute loss of morals. It does not seem to be that far off. Also the only people who would rant against such an opinion as this would be those who lack enough morals that all they would see in a letter such as this is an attack against freedom of expression. When you have a society where anything goes you end up with anarchy.
We have been in a moral collapse for a while now.Sex ON TV and children can watch
almost SEX and many can take locks off TV Just to see what mom doesn't want them to see......PRAYER OUT OF SCHOOLS?? THE VERY PLACE that NEEDS PRAYER!

I honestly don't think that America is headed for a moral collapse however, I do believe America has an ethical delima. Here is an example of what I mean. Do you know the difference between a moral man and an ethical man? A moral man knows that it's wrong to cheat on his wife, an ethical man won't. America has made some very undesirable, and uneducated choices. All in the name of freedom.
I think it's been going downhill for decades. If you are paying attention to the political scene nationwide (not necessarily in Texas) then you know that they are voting on things like homosexual marriage, etc. If you were listening to John Boy & Billy this morning & heard the Reverend from the "Sword of Joshua Independent Full Gospel Pentecostal church" they were discussing how the Bible talks in Leviticus of the wages of sin. (with a comedic twist of course)
