East Texans offer their two cents on Attorney General Eric Holder and his announced investigation into alleged tactics used by the CIA on suspected terrorists.
I think to investigate the CIA is an insult to them and is going to adversely effect our national security. Just another big blunder by our ultra liberal president.

3 months agoI don't understand how if "they" do it to keep their nation going "their" leaders are evil.
If we do it to keep our nation going it is somehow good.
We all seem to hate the government but when it comes to hurting others, somehow there is absolutely no error in government at all. Weird.
It's simple: just let everyone nation do it, even us - and when it happens to our people we don't have any room to complain about it.

3 months agoNO......We are still the most civilized country in the world...We have watched video after video of our military and press have been paraded beheaded and murdered in the middle east... We should do all we can to brings those responsable to justice.

3 months agoEric Holder is as bad or worse than Obama's advisors, whom if you do a internet search, many of them ARE PROVEN Communists and Socialists. You will never learn this from the media with their Obama bias. Now the USA attorney general wants to prosecute those in the CIA whom protect YOUR freedom. Never mind that these TERRORISTS killed several thousand Americans on 911 and beheaded American citizens in Iraq. Holder is more worried about the rights of NON AMERICAN terrorists whom would kill you in a second than your rights to freedom and protection as an AMERICAN CITIZEN. Do you think the future CIA operatives will risk their lives for you, when they are prosecuted by YOUR Government for protecting you. Read "Culture of Corruption" by Maikin and "Common Semse" by Beck. This IS NOT A Political party Issue but an issue of LOSING your Freedoms. This is not about the Parties, but about the Constitution. WAKE UP !!!!

3 months agoYes, I think that criminals should be punished. We should remember that these are "suspected" terrorists. I have heard all the emotional outbursts saying that these tactics are necessary. But we, as a nation are better than that. We have standards and we are held to account for illegal activities. The CIA should not be above the law. If someone owes me money, should I be allowed to tie them up and pull out their fingernails? How absurd to suggest such a thing. LET US BE BETTER THAN THOSE WHO ARE "SUSPECTED" OF BEING TERRORISTS.

3 months agoDavid you have to be joking. These suspected terrorist are caught trying to kill AMERICAN CITIZENS and there information leads to YOUR PROTECTION. Do you think they are going to offer the information because we ask politely? I think people like you need to spend a few months in the middle east and see how welcome you will be. I doubt someone like you would last a month while you were kissing A** trying to make friends someone would cut your head off. The CIA is ask to get info. to make us safer and I say let them get it. Did the vietnamese treat our POW's to three hots and a cot? No they broke their arms and legs and made them eat unspeakable things. These suspected terrorist do this and worst and they film beheadings to post on the internet. I don't know where you were at 9/11 but to many people have forgot and forget the fact these people are plotting all the time to do the same and worse.

3 months agoRob, I see you are a person who cares little for the constitution and rule of law. It is to be hoped that you are never suspected of being a terrorist, because then, you would change your mind very quickly.
