Longview, TX — Diabetes in dogs is on the rise according to a new study.
With animals having trouble regulating blood sugar on their own, veterinarians are using human insulin shots and in some cases have glucose monitors implanted to treat the disease.
As far as breeds being diagnosed with diabetes veterinarians say there is no data showing one breed being diagnosed more often than another.
