Horses attacked by Rottweilers along Eastman about 9:30 Thursday morning

Houston — The Houston Chronicle is reporting; a miniature horse lost an ear and another was bitten several times when a pair of dogs attacked them at a home in north Houston on Thursday.

The attack occurred around 9:30 a.m. at a house in the 2400 block of Eastman, according to the Houston Police Department.

Police had few details, but the homeowner's boyfriend, Berto Aparicio, said a next-door neighbor's two Rottweilers escaped from a fenced yard and attacked the horses.
