Longview, TX (KETK) — An early morning wreck took out some utility poles on Gilmer Rd. around 1:45 a.m. on Monday morning.

One vehicle was involved in the wreck, and crashed into the utility poles. One person was hopitalized, but the extent of their injuries is not known.

The wreck has since been cleared, but the poles are still in the road.

Police have closed northbound and southbound Gilmer Rd. Southbound drivers are being detoured from Delmar to Crystal, and northbound drivers should detour to from Crystal to Delmar.

The road is expected to be closed until mid-morning.
