Longview, TX — The ArtWalk will be a Friday event for the first time this week, and organizer Shannon Gilliland said she hopes combining it with the music event Downtown Live! will draw more people to both.

“They’re both free, they’re both fun, and we’re hoping that people who come for the music will stay for the visual arts displays or vice versa,” Gilliland said.

Gilliland will highlight the new location of her business, Shannon’s Beading Basket at 207 N. Horaney, during the ArtWalk.
