Early morning house fire in North Tyler

Power lines are down
KETK photographer Albert Belez has reported again saying the Hispanic family of nine informed him that the fire may have started due to a dryer. Investigators are looking into that.
One of the daughters said even though the family got out, they lost everything. They are now staying with family members right next door.

Officials are still investigating into what caused the blaze.

Smith County officials say there is a major house fire that started around 1:30 this morning. The blaze is at 522 Dobbs Terrace in North Tyler.
Reports say there are power lines down and the house is fully-involved. Officials also tell KETK that there is a natural gas line that they are trying to shut off.
No injuries have been reported so far and KETK crews are responding to the scene.
