Earthquake shakes parts of East Texas
GARRISON - The ground started shaking around 10:15 Thursday morning near Garrison.
People from Nacogdoches, a city 24 miles away from the epicenter say they felt the 3.7 quake.
It shook buildings in Garrison and knocked a few items off of shelves but no structural damage has been reported.
One garrison resident says it was an experience she won't soon forget.
"I ran back out on the street and everyone was running out of the building and the people over across the street there they were running in the back of the building because they thought someone had hit the building with a truck or something"
