East Texan major league pitcher headed to Tyler

Many people are without food this winter due to the recession and East Texas Food Bank is here to help.

PureBody Nutrition is teaming up with MotoPhoto and Signature Gallery to bring you Cleveland Indians starting Pitcher, Josh Tomlin. Josh will be greeting fans and signing 8x10 photos, donated by Moto Photo, for canned goods. Fans must bring in 4 canned Goods for the East Texas Food Bank on Saturday, November 19th from 2-4pm at Purebody Nutrition, located at 6747 S. Broadway in Tyler next to Walmart.

Purebody Nutrition is tripling there staff for the day so that everyone can be helped and that they successfully gain food to help the East Texas Food Bank. Purebody Nutrition will also be doing a huge sale and giving gift bags to all attendees.

Josh Tomlin was born in Tyler, TX and graduated from Whitehouse High School. He is the starting Pitcher for the Cleveland Indians, drafted in the 19th round of the 2006 Major League Baseball. His Major league debut against the New York Yankees was on July 27, 2010 where he outpitched the Yankee’ CC Sabathia, earning a 4-1 win.
