East Texans camp out for Black Friday deals

Tyler, TX — We know Black Friday is the biggest shopping day of the year, but many people couldn't wait until Friday. Thursday is known to be the new Black Friday which is "Gray Thursday".
Several East Texans have chosen to skip their Thanksgiving gathering and football to set up their tent and lounge chairs.
Thanksgiving dinner was even delivered to many of the people camping out.
Some retails stores nationwide, such as Target and TOYS 'R' US open their doors before midnight.
Reports say, Black Friday sales in the United States are expected to reach over 800 billion dollars.
So what is the must-have item? KETK spoke to anxious campers to hear what they had to say, and many are waiting for a TV.
Even though East Texans are camping out until the the doors open, they haven't forgotten what Thanksgiving is all about. many told KETK, their thankful for their family and having a job.
