BULLARD — It's a hot summer day in East Texas...and two men are sitting underneath a tent on the side of Highway 69 in between Tyler and Jacksonville.

But unlike other vendors, they're not selling watermelons...or blueberries...and what they're serving is free of charge...prayer.

"Thats what we do, people will pull in...its a God thing, they pull in, there'll be tears in their eyes...and to a complete stranger, they'll just pour out...their hearts," said Ron Odom from Jacksonville.

Odom started "At the door Ministries" 2 years ago after seeing the concept in practice in Arizona.

Odom's friend Teddy Bearden from West Monroe Louisiana has been with him every step of the way.

"You know, Jesus sent them out 2 by 2.  So the Lord sent me and brother Ron out together 2 by 2,' Bearden said.

Ever since they started their ministry, they've hauled their 'prayer stand' from roadside to roadside.

"We go and we set up where the Lord leads us and we pray about it and pray 'Lord where would you have us set up?' Bearden said.

Odom tells KETK over the past 2 years, they've prayed with more than 350 people, bringing the church outside of the 4 walls...and to the people.

He remembers the first time they set up the prayer stand on Highway 175 in Cuney...when a man named Richard came by just as they were about to go home for the day.

"Right on the side of the highway...175...Richard knelt and received Christ as his Lord and Savior," Odom said.

"God is moving right here on the side of the road...and if just one person stops and receives salvation...if just one person stops and receives healing...that makes it worth it all," Bearden said.
