East Texas Baptist stays alive at national tournament

Tyler, TX (KETK) — UT Tyler has been the home away from home for East Texas Baptist.
The Tigers have played in Tyler for most of this month.
ETBU was facing an elimination game at UT Tyler Friday in the national softball tournament.
Jayme Perez led off the game with a home run.
The freshman from Austin came through for the team from Marshall.
Alyssa Romero added a two-run homer in the second inning. It was her second home run in the last two days.
East Texas Baptist eliminated the Trine Thunder, 11-to-3.
ETBU stays alive in the national tournament.
The Tigers will play again Saturday night at 7:30 at UT Tyler.
It's still their home away from home.
