TYLER - You've seen the signs all over, "Locals Love Us", it reads, but what is it and what does it mean?

Darryl Flynn is the owner of The Cleaning Company, also known as the Red Hanger in Tyler. Last year he won the award and keeps his sign right next to his door.

"It's a great program it gives the community the opportunity to vote on who they like the best and who they had the most confidence in and we're very blessed to be a part of that."

In fact, according to the "Locals Love Us" website, the company is on track to be the number one dry cleaner chosen by locals, but there's a slew of other categories. Fun, dinning, food and drink, travel and lodging, fitness and beauty, shopping, and the list goes on. You can even vote for you're favorite doctor, or tanning salon.

Another business topping the list right now, Bruno's Pizza in Tyler. Last year they won an award, and many more folks this year are already voting Bruno's as their favorite place to get a pizza pie.

"It's great for business that people recognize you and the hard work you put into it."

Lori Rumbelow owns the business, and every year, the award gives Rumbelow and her business something to look forward to.

"You'll see some kind of place that are just kind of off the beaten path and you kind of want to know are they good, well if you see a sign like "locals love us" then you know the people in the town support you and like you. So it's a place you might want to come in and try so I think it's kind of good."
