LONGVIEW — At the First Christian Church in Longview tonight, the "Dancing with the Stars" competition kicked off around 7:30.
And you might have recognized a familiar face if you were there...you guessed it - KETK's own beloved web editor and host of "Mike's Mail Bag," Michael Wesp, was cutting a rug all for a good cause.
It's the 5th year of the "Dancing with the Stars" competition sponsored by Pine Tree High School.
All proceeds from ticket sales go to the "Life Beyond Cancer" foundation.
Many of the students participating in tonight's competition were Pine Tree High School students.
Michael's dance partner, Victoria Coleman is a student at Pine Tree.
And I asked her what we've all been dying to know. What's it like dancing with KETK's web editor Michael Wesp?
"It was kind of a challenge at first because I mean he never had any experience with dance. But once he got with the rhythm and realized he could really have fun with it , it was a lot of fun," Coleman said.
Michael won the best male solo and male waltz at tonight's competition.
