East Texas deer season draws young hunters
Harmony — Lisa East didn’t grow up hunting with her dad, but her daughter is growing up in a deer blind with mom.
So is East’s son, Cody, whose kill on the opening day of deer season rivaled the 12-point buck little sister, Brenna, bagged while turning 12 on her grandparents’ West Texas deer lease.
Deer season 2013 is looking busy, with a local processor reporting intake well ahead at this point compared to most seasons.
