TYLER—The Democratic watch party was packed with local Obama supporters and now there is nothing but pure joy to hear that Obama is now President.

Barack Obama is now the new Commander-in-Chief and anyone who was watching television saw the reaction people had in Grant Park. And Chicago is not the only place celebrating tonight; people all over the nation are. This has truly been an historic race. Everyone keeping up with this race has seen history being made.

For the first time in history America will have an African-American president, and many feel this is the change America has been needing for quite some time now.
