Harrison County Sheriff's Department confirms fire crews are on scene putting out hot spots along Interstate 20 and Mile Marker 600.

Officials tell KETK crews have been out to the area several times already Monday morning and are continually monitoring the area for flare ups.

Interstate 20 is not closed at this time.

Gilmer Fire department has confirmed crews are still battling a fire on Highway 154 East and FM 726.

Officials tell KETK the fire has jumped the highway several times.

Evacuations have been ordered in the area.

KETK will bring you more information when it becomes available.

Officials with Arp Fire Department tell KETK, that as of 8:00 a.m. the 200 acre fire burning in Rusk County is 80% contained.

Several fire departments are still on scene battling that blaze.

Firefighters say, only one structure had moderate damage during the fire.

Officials with the Texas Forest Service tell KETK, the fire burning in Anderson County that started around noon on Sunday just off of FM 321 and FM 315 in Palestine, has been deemed the "New Chapel Fire".

The fire has spanned 1000 acres, and destroyed five structures.

No seriouse injuries reported at this time, though one firefighter was treated for dehydration.

As of 9:30 a.m. on Monday, the fire was 40% contained.

The cause of the fire is unknown, but officials say it is likely due to  branches hitting power lines in the high winds.
