On Tuesday, a jury will begin to decide whether an East Texas man will die after they convicted him of torturing and killing his girlfriend's 13-month old baby.

The guilty verdict was given last night around 10 p.m..

In the trial, the baby's parents confessed to an exorcism in a house near Henderson.

Prosecutors are seeking the death penalty for Blaine Milam who, along with the toddler's mother, used a hammer to beat baby Amora Bain Carson.

Testimony in the case also included evidence of sexual assault.

Amora's mother, Jessica Carson, faces a capital murder charge in the killing and awaits trial.

The defense says the case was full of holes and there was little physical evidence showing the 20-year-old had any involvement in the beating, strangling and biting death of amora.
