Several charter buses left TK Gorman High School in Tyler early Tuesday morning, filled with supporters of House Bill 2, otherwise known as the controversial abortion bill that is expected to go up for a vote later on Tuesday.

The buses are sponsored by a group called The Voice of the Unborn, and the pro-life advocates in these buses plan to take part in a rally in Austin to show their support for the abortion bill.

According to the group's website, Voice of the Unborn is a non-profit organization "with the express purpose of protecting and encouraging respect for all innocent human life. We are individuals committed to the traditional ethic of our nation as set forth in our Declaration of Independence, that each person is entitled to the right of life whether pre-born, born, ill or aged."

Those participating in the rally are encouraged to bring signs and wear blue.

The buses left the high school at 7:00 a.m. and are planning to return to Tyler late Tuesday evening.

On Friday, one of the East Texans headed to Austin in these buses, Suzanne Laine, told KETK that participating in this rally is her way to stand up for what she believes is right.

This follows a seperate large rally on Monday, which took place outside the capitol building in Austin.

Thousands of activists participated in Monday's rally, to show their support or opposition to the Senate version of the bill, Senate Bill 1, which was up for a hearing by the Senate Health and Human services Committee.

dave, get off Obama bashing! Get your head out of the sand and see for yourself who has been obstructing reasonable, sound and compassionate servant leadership in doing the business of the is your repub/tea party clowns, led by that giant of a toad McConnell who, from the minute Pres. Obama took office, has diligently stuck to the goal of obstructing anything that would move this country forward. YOU voted these (blank) into with it and own YOUR own failure!!

The Republicans will never win another national election with this kind of crap legislation on their hands.

Notice how the elderly men in the photos are so concerned about what young women do with their bodies. They need to mind their own business.

Rick Perrys presidential campaign manager just called to say thanks for the free publicity. 17% of the population lives below the poverty level. 17% of 26 million equals 4,420,000. #1 in minimum wage jobs. Last in affordability and quality of healthcare. Lets focus on the 74,000 abortions a year, 3 tenths of one percent of the population. Do you really want someone who stoops to these kind of stunts for attention, as your president? We already have one of those, Obama.
