Resurfacing work continues on Interstate 20

GREGG COUNTY -- Texas Department of Transportation contractor Clark Construction this week is scheduled to continue resurfacing operations on Interstate 20, including entrance and exit ramps, between Joy Wright Mountain Road at the Smith/Gregg county line, and SH 135 in Kilgore.

The work is scheduled to take approximately two weeks to complete.

Then on Wednesday, TxDOT maintenance crews are scheduled to begin several days of fog-seal operations in various locations on the US 259 Kilgore Bypass.

Daytime lane closures will be in effect in each location while the work is in progress, and flaggers and pilot vehicles will control traffic in two-lane areas.

TxDOT plans work on Interstate 20

VAN ZANDT COUNTY -- Beginning as early as Wednesday, Texas Department of Transportation maintenance crews this week are scheduled to perform base and pavement repair operations in various locations on Interstate 20 in eastern Van Zandt County, including pavement repairs in and around the rest area near Van.

Daytime lane closures will be in effect while the work is in progress, and motorists are encouraged to be prepared to reduce speed and merge in and around the work zone.

TxDOT plans work on US 79 in Henderson

HENDERSON -- Texas Department of Transportation maintenance crews this week are scheduled to perform base and pavement repairs in various locations on US 79 in Henderson between FM 225 and SH 22.

Daytime lane closures will be in effect in each location while the work is in progress, and motorists should be prepared to reduce speed and merge in and around the work zones.

TxDOT continues resurfacing work in Henderson County

HENDERSON COUNTY -- Texas Department of Transportation maintenance crews this week are scheduled to continue base and pavement repair operations on FM 1615 southeast of Athens.

Meanwhile, a second crew is scheduled to perform resurfacing operations on FM 317 between FM 315 south of Chandler and FM 314 south of Brownsboro.

Daytime lane closures will be in effect in each location while the work is in progress, and flaggers will control traffic.

TxDOT plans work in Wood County

WOOD COUNTY -- Texas Department of Transportation maintenance crews this week are scheduled to perform edge repairs in various locations on FM 1799, and base and pavement repairs on South Loop 564 near US 69 at the Cap Ranch Road intersection.

Daytime lane closures will be in effect in each location while the work is in progress, and flaggers will control traffic in two-lane areas.

TxDOT plans work in Anderson County

ANDERSON COUNTY -- Texas Department of Transportation maintenance crews this week are scheduled to perform ditch-cleaning work in various locations on FM 321 in and around Neches.
