East Texas — Single seniors do not share the opportunities to socialize that their married counterparts do, Dorothy Owens said.

Owens, the president of Border LoW’s, hopes to change that with local RV campouts.

“We are a family. We always look forward to getting together,” said the charter member of Border LoW’s, the Texarkana-based chapter of Loners on Wheels.
