GILMER — Courtney Reid is hoping for an early Christmas present from her older sister, Casey Reid.

Courtney Reid, 19, doesn’t want a car or a trip to a spa; instead, she’s hoping to have a kidney transplant using an organ donated by her older sister. If everything goes right, the procedure could be done in November.
