A Lindale family has made it their mission to care for rescued animals, everything from horses to wolves, end up in the sanctuary.

But it's the special canines that have a special diet., and it's draining their bank account, quickly.

The family says they are doing this to take care of God's creatures, and plan to care for these animals for the foreseen future.

But it cost $450 a week to feed them, and they say they can use all the help they can get, to keep these dogs off the street.

None of the animals are full-blooded wolves, and the planks want to make it clear, this is not a wolf breeding center, it's a sanctuary, the wolves have been fixed.

If you would like to know how you can lend a helping hand, you can get a hold of Misti Plank at (903) 944-8015.

She says they are in need of monetary donations, as well as raw meat.
