How can anyone trust an American politician? They are devoted to winning their next election more than they are to the needs of the people. This includes their need to service the lobbies and their fear of doing the right thing in favor of doing what their constituency wants.I'm not criticizing them for something that is inherent in our system. If we were to limit any one person to a single term in service to our country, we would have more dedicated office holders.

None. Healthcare and God-fearing ain't got nothing to do with it.

I trust U.S. Sen. John Cornyn and that's about it.

Here in East Texas, I respect both Kevin Eltife and Leo Berman. They both have our best interest at heart. Mr. Gohmert is also a good, god-fearing man.

I do not trust any politician to reform health care, There should be several doctors, drug execs, insurance execs, picked by the President, with no government involvement. Let all of them debate what they are willing to give to reform healthcare. Also you should include some hospital CEO's. Let them debate and come up with a legitiment healthcare proposal.

This is an awesome question!

I'm "left of center" and voted for Obama. I still have a lot of hope for him and I think he's doing a good job.

However, when it comes to TRUST. I've always seen Mike Huckabee as a trustworthy guy. We don't agree on everything politically, but he's always been respectful of other people's opinions and understands that in this great nation there are many different views on any issue and THAT'S OKAY!

I don't think you'd ever see Mr. Huckabee encouraging people to attend town hall meetings with the sole purpose of disrupting the debate and shouting down anyone who wants to discuss the incredibly complex issue of health care in this country.
