Do You Think Illegal Aliens Help or Hurt our Economy?

According to the Texas State Comptroller, if all illegal aliens were to vanish from the state, our net loss in one year would be....17.3 billion dollars. Just as we changed our ways when we moved from the slide rule to the electronic calculator, so also has our economy shifted to accommodate this work force. And just as we will never revert to slide rules instead of calculators, neither will we go back to the way things were done prior to the illegal alien workforce. And you can bet your boots the majority of Americans will not take the jobs these folks are holding.

The illegal immigration is a two part problem. Let me break it down for you.

You may not know this but the illegals are here because American/Texas companies keep hiring them!!!! It is like the movie Field of Dreams "if you build it they will come" -if you all keep hiring them - guess what? THEY WILL COME!!

And if you feel displaced from your job because of illegal aliens - then you should have studied more in school and made something more of yourself so that you would have a competitive edge. If you already speak English then go to community college and learn something to better yourself. But if you want to hang around your trailer park all day and blame the illegals for your current social standing -you can do that also if it makes you feel better about yourself.

The solution is SOOOOO SIMPLE - STOP GIVING THEM WORK - without work they won't stick around - they won't buy houses or cars or shop at WalMart - and their kids won't go to your schools - they won't use the emergency room as their primary care doctor - they won't request any Federal assistance for their U.S. born children.

Once the illegals are gone then jobs will be plentiful and American people will have their pick of employment and salaries will be great and the benefits will just flow.

Would it not be MAJORLY WONDERFUL when great red blooded American people will have the incredibly great opportunity again to; flip burgers, cut lawns, trim trees, work at dry cleaners, clean houses, harvest fruits and vegetable, work at hotels as houskeepers, work as construction laborers, work the rose nursery, work at the plant farms, country club golf courses and chicken processing plants. Just imagine that great day - almost reminds me of the song "It's a Wonderful World" by Louie Armstrong.

Your chest would burst with pride as you drive by a Highway Construction site like the Loop 49 project and see nothing but natural born Americans toiling in the burning August sun. I don't know about you but - I would roll down my window and salute them.
