Chastity, you think the Hispanic race invented hard work ethics? Everyone who immigrated to this country was ALL about hard work. My people came here years ago and worked very hard. My family still works hard. The big difference is our family assimilated into the United States of America. WE learned the language, the customs, and adopted them AS OUR OWN, LEGALLY. Not like these ILLEGALS, who expect everyone to allow them their customs, their language, and free benefits, including free healthcare, free schooling, and social security benefits, THAT THEY HAVE NOT EVEN CONTRIBUTED INTO. Don't give me that cr*p about how hard they work. I out work them EVERY DAY. Some do work hard. Some work harder at how to get by on the system. They bring their drugs, their gangs, and their filth with them, to pollute this once great country. Oh, by the way, most can't speak the languge, or read or write. Or only write as well as you. Maybe you should go get your GED, or take some English sixth grade grammer classes, before you TRY to express yourself in legible English. You pro illegal immigrant activists are disgusting, the way you self-righteously feel compelled to defend CRIMINALS.

It think that employers who hire illegal aliens, should be treated as criminals face procecution and fines. But be aware that most contractors rely on these workers for the labor on new home construction etc. Which is going to cause deeper depression in construction, plus higher cost. It also affects agri business because crop harvest also depends to a great deal on these same workers. It is going to price construction and food items right out of site.

If an employer is caught using any illegal aliens help, they should lose their license to do business. Should be sent to jail for 30 days. We own businesses and the last thing we would do is hire an illegal. No excuses by saying, "i didnt know" If in doubt hire the American standing behind him. You can tell. Let unemployed Americans have 5 minutes alone with an invader, and 10 minutes with the employer. We will straighten this crap out real quick

Considering the burden illegal’s put on the social programs that tax payers pay for and the other forms of corruption this type of behavior fosters like people smuggling, slave type labor working conditions and other transportation and housing support services which go untaxed the penalty for those who participate in this type if conduct is easy.

First Offence – The President or presiding top company officer and hiring manager should serve a jail sentence in minimum security correctional institution for a minimum of 90 days per illegal found working for them and to pay for deportation costs for each illegal and $10,000 fine that would be divided proportionally to those Social Services burdened by these activities and $5,000 paid to the hospital emergency room where the illegal was apprehended ..

Second Offence – The President or presiding top company officer and hiring manager should serve a jail sentence in minimum security correctional institution for a minimum of 6 month’s per illegal found working for them and to pay for deportation costs for each illegal and $50,000 fine that would be divided proportionally to those Social Services burdened by these activities and $10,000 paid to the hospital emergency room where the illegal was apprehended .

Third Offence– The President or presiding top company officer and hiring manager should serve a jail sentence in minimum security correctional institution for a minimum of 1 year per illegal found working for them and to pay for deportation costs for each illegal and $100,000 fine that would be divided proportionally to those Social Services burdened by these activities and $20,000 paid to the hospital emergency room where the illegal was apprehended .

Fourth Offence – The company will be taken over by a third party management firm, all company assets will be seized, all personal assets of presiding company officers and the hiring manager will be seized. The company will be put on the open market (auction) for resale to any American (no foreign investors allow) who will agree to make corrections to personnel that will be consistent with current immigration and labor laws. All assets seized will be auctioned off and proceeds donated to local hospitals and social programs effected by such illegal activities.

Do not be so ridiculous!
Hispanics do work I would not dream of doing. Forget the proposal and enjoy the nice Texas roads these people are kind enough to build for us.
We had crops rotting in the southern states when these migrants were kept out. HOW STUPID IS THAT?

you know, these people are working harder than just about anybody I know. the jobs and the employment has been there for years and the majority of people would refuse to even consider a job like these hard working people gladly go to on a daily basis....you ever seen a mexican that wasnt smiling while working? Start looking at them...you will realize it too...As far as the people who employ them...I think if the knowingly hire them then they have 30 days to help out this hard working person make it possible to stay legaly, and of course paying any and all fees associated with the citizenship process. These employers are in bad need of employment, it forces them to hire illegals because we say "I would never do that." You get hungry enough, you will do whatever it takes to feed and support your family. i know minium wage isnt grand but would you rather go work at McDonals or would you rather be the one in 100 degree weather scraping dirt off the pavement on the side of the road with a flathead shovel. I went thru Mineola today and stopped ant the local McDonalds, and low and behold.....nothing but mexican women working in there...smiling and having a good time...yep! you could tell they were really glad to be working.....So this is what I have to say..Instead of sitting on you rear end taking money from the local health and human services, just go get a job. it may not be the one you want but it will be some form of income. I work really really hard 5 days a week with long hours to boot just to pay my way through life. I dont mean to offend anybody, just wanted to say my piece

You have it absolutely correct. We have 100s of thousands of people on the public dole who are able bodied, but refuse to 1) do manual labor 2) work for this level wage. Many of the aliens who live in my area contribute more to society and our economy than most of the "citizens" who live around them. Yet are treated with animosity and disrespect because of their origins. Our immigration policies work an undue hardship on those seeking to legally immigrate. Which is a point no one really addresses. I have seen these people pay over and over for application fees, phycial exams, etc. Because the immigration offices employ tactics which guarantee that their applications will never be processed in a timely fashion. The goverment and their designated medical representatives milk these people for thousands of hard earned dollars (largely earned by working for employers who hire illegals). It isn't that they don't want to do it legally, most of them financially can't meet the cost. I know, my child immigrated to Canada and it took years and thousands of dollars to stick it out. We need a new immigration system period. If it worked right to start with, we would not have this problem.

By hiring ILLEGAL ALIENS these employers have taken the illegals under their wing and shown their support of these people being here, therefore should be held accountable for the deportation of their workers.
If illegals had not been hired by these employers, they would have moved on and searched elsewhere.
So I say the employers should be held responsible for any medical, any social services, etc. granted to these illegals.
Also, any family support paid by gov't programs to the families of these illegals needs to be reimbursed rather than taxpayers replacing these funds. You can bet if these employers were to be deemed accountable for these deadbeat dads payments, they would make sure to check their I.D.'s next time.
