East Texans asked who they'd vote for if the Predidential Election were today: Obama or Clinton.

Didn't vote for him Spent a year before the election vetting him and finding out all I could. There is nothing available except two books, a period of time in the State of Illinois Senate...a stint in the US Senate. He spent a brief length of time with a law firm took a grant for several million dollars for education/voting for doing his 'community organizing' stint...spent the money, accomplished nothing, according to the board of directors and the money filings that were reported by the Chicago media. He has never met a payroll... he haskept/keeps dubious company....is inept, unknowing, and, Annoying.
I cannot believe that people didn't check him out before voting. He is doing exactly what he said he was going to do.

1 week agoNo I didn't vote for him. I just can't believe he has fooled as many people as he has. They will rule the day they put this person in office. He is trying to ruin our country and may just do that if we let him. You can't give everyone something they haven't earned ..you can't take away our money that we worked so many years and hard for. If so, you will not have anyone to Tax to pay for all the Lazy People to sit on their duff and take money for doing nothing. If you take chances and work hard you can get ahead in this Country, at least that the way it was.......good luck Lazy ones you might get free money but it will not be worth anything then.

4 months agoI did not vote for Obama in 2008 and I would not vote for him now. I actually felt like the whole Presidential ticket was quite weak. I was optimistic at first, and I was the same way - telling people to give the man a chance and let him prove himself. Not anymore. I think that his first 7 months in office just prove what kind of President he will be in the future. The first thing that turned me away from him was the fact that his transparency plan was reversed almost immediately after being elected. He stated during the camapaign that all legislation would be online for all of America to view at least 72 hours before it was up for vote by Congress. That never materialized. As far as I'm concerned, what we the people think about things is number one and should be the primary concern of our Commander in Chief, but it doesn't seem to be thus far. The second thing that really bugs me about him is his flock of czars that have recently taken over the White House. We are at what, 31 and counting? These people are hand picked by Obama, are not subject to government oversight, and their salaries are undisclosed. That doesn't sound like transparency to me. Also, for all of you who deny that Obama is on a socialistic road, look up the word socialism and compare it to what is happening today. Socialism is defined as "a theory or system of social organization that advocates the vesting of the ownership and control of the means of production and distribution, of capital, land, etc., in the community as a whole." A couple of examples: the near imminent universal healthcare plan, AIG, General Motors (whose CEO was basically fired by the federal government). The list is huge and will only grow. I think it is clear that President Obama has changed many of his ideas since being elected. He told us what we wanted to hear during the campaign and went against those promises once elected. He changed his mind - that was the change he said we could believe in.

5 months agoI am so sick of hearing Obama is a socialist he's taking away our rights blah, blah, blah. Give the man a chance it hasn't even been a year. How in the world do you blame him for this economy? And yes with out question I would vote for him again. I am aware, no I don't have my head in the clouds.
