Texas to lose more than 100-thousand jobs

AUSTIN—State Comptroller Susan Combs says the national recession is catching up with Texas.
Combs says she expects more than 100-thousand jobs to be lost in the next six months.
For months the state has prospered, while the national economy crumbled around it.
Oil and gas prices are contributing to the Texas bubble bursting.






I heard on a local radio station about the success story of Smith County Drug Core Program. I have not seen any Tyler local news station pick up this positive story in a time of so much depressing negative events. Please check this out and let me know.
