Tyler—
The Cash for Clunkers program ends Monday. Do you Think the program was a success?

cash 4 clunkers would have been a good idea if they had stipulated domestically owned manufactures only...instead these people that bought cars and trucks{altho some are built here but the money goes elsewhere}from foreigners and benefitted their economies.

7 months agoThis is just another government bail out plan that in the end, tax payers have to pay for. The Obama "change" is here.

7 months agoAnyone who couldn't afford a new car before this program still can't afford it with it. This will soon be the housing crisis all over again, this time with the government fueling the fire.

7 months agoI don't like it. The majority of those who bought cars could have bought them without Government help and I did not want to pitch in and help them buy cars. It made very little difference in the carbon footprint and cost me and mine money for people who did not need money and the next several months lack of car buying will even out the last few weeks spike in car buying. Just another handout!!!! If you really want to make a difference make the schools turn up there thermostats in the warm months so kids don't freeze in class, now that is a waste.
