Why do you think President Obama is lagging in approval ratings? Why are you unhappy with the President's performance?

I'm not unhappy with my President in any of his decision he make. The only thing the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA need to do is wake up this man hadn't been in office a year and they want to find everything he do is wrong. The only is that they are not use to taking orders from a black man and they don't like it come on AMERICA it's time for a change let's just all get alone we were all created from the same GOD that's what AMERICA need to wake up and realize I'm just a different skin color, but you have so many WHITE PEOPLE trying to tan so they can be darker, whats wrong they hate us so much but they want to have my skin tone.

Obama could have been the Hero by giving the American people all the money he gave away to the CROOKS in big business and getting into bed with the United Auto Workers Union. There was a time he could have gone down in history as an Presidential ICON but alas he has let his EGO get the best of his judgement and decision making. He listens to people that have no clue and I think he wanted to do good but did not pay his dues early on to find out how.
We find ourselves now on the edge of civil discourse nationwide and President Obama is still talking the same stuff and trying to make the American people accept what he thinks is good for us when in fact he has no idea.
Mr. President with no disrespect to you there are smarter people around that can see the forrest for the trees and do not have to make so many elected people happy to the point of self ruinatin.
Stand up in the morning and Pledge to our Flag and recite the Lords Prayer and look out the window of the White House, Take a deep breath, have some coffee and say to your self it's time to put my pants on the same way every other American does.

It still amazes me that people think opinions of educated people are based on racist views; although our president is as much White as he is Black. It's those pointing to race that are truly racist.
To the point - Obama's morals are twisted, his understanding of America and its people is non-existant. Him wanting to pay for abortions in other countries or condoning abortions in this one is totally unethical. He claims to be religious, yet holds views that against God. He is an empty shell. Give me Colin Powell or Condoleza Rice anyday!!!

It is odd that most of the people that you run into in a days time that voted for the foreigner are wishing that they had not done so now. That should send a message to the rest of the idiots that still think he is presidential material. He is trying to become a dictator and with the not so bright following he has, he might be able to accomplish this with a select few in the end. Good luck to you believers. You will need it or us in the end.

I'm not uphappy! I think he is trying to change things and I believe he has been far more accessible than the last bunch that was in office.

As far big government and socialist concerns, I don't think those things are his "secret agenda". The facts are pretty simple. Folks like Madoff and others yet to be caught have been allowed to fleece us in an unbridled, unchecked sort of way. Maybe it is time that the rules were changed to prevent those things from happening.

As for health care, everyone has to admit that subject has been the joke for way too long and all he's suggesting that enough is enough. If private healthcare is too expensive and government healthcare is unacceptable, then what is the solution?

As for medicare and medicaid, that system has been teetering on bankruptcy for the last 40 years. The fact of the matter is that it won't ever cover all of the health costs the elderly experience just like social security benefits won't ever cover all living expenses. So again, what is a better solution?

President Obama is not going to solve all of our wants and woes in 4 years. And, he's not responsible for all this mess either. The real culprits are big business with the money to pay special interest groups to lobby for them. If we want to see honest healthy progress made, ban politicians from accepting graft, gratuities and contributions, period.

If our politicians are prohibited from accepting donations, or contributions or anything else, I think we would see a lot of these issues disappear in short order.

why do you assume we are all unhappy with the President. I am very happy with what he is trying to do. Remember he won the election so everyone is not unhappy. You just assume because Republicans are louder in east texas that the rest of the U S feels the same way. Republicians just can't take defeat. Why don't your question read How do you feel about the President, so far.

I think, simply put, that quite a lot of people are disappointed with Obama because he hasn't turned out to be the messiah like they thought he would be. Big surprise there, yall. I voted for the guy and I am waiting to see what he can do. His presidency is still young. But keep this in mind: No matter who's president, God is still on His throne and no matter what Obama does, he can't do anything so big or so bad that God can't handle it! So what are all you Christians worried about?

God IS definitely still on His throne. I take comfort in knowing that there is nothing this administration can do that God can't handle.

I was honestly hoping Obama would keep his campaign promises, however:
1. He campaigned for change in the Washington politics....
He has only magnified the Washington politics - he has taken corruption to a whole new level.
2. He campaigned against the debt from the previous administration.....
He has only magnified our country's debt exponentially.
3. He campaigned for transparency....
Yet bills were being rammed through so quickly that neither Congress nor "We the People" had an opportunity to review or speak out on.
4. He campaigned against bipartisanship...
Yet he has only magnified partisanship.
5. He accused Bush of lying.....
Yet, he uses lies and deceit in every speech to push his agenda through.

Plain and simple, Obama is shoving America towards socialism, the antithesis of America's principles of freedom.
For 2 centuries now, people from all over the world have flocked to America because of the freedoms it offers.
If someone wants to be enslaved by socialism, you are free to go to whatever country you want, but why not leave America alone.

Obama's score: F- (He makes Bush seem like a saint)

Question Why are you assuming were unhappy with Potus, the only people unhappy are the backwoods racist that still are about 20% of the country (how does it feel being a minority?) But the rest of us, the people that really love our country are just praying that our president can clean up the mess he was dealt!
