El Chico Ranch is open

It has been one of the most difficult and controversial business openings in recent memory.
The it we are referring to is the restaurant formerly known as Double D Ranch.
It is now, technically, the El Chico Ranch, but in reality, the name is still the object of litigation.
But that didn’t matter to the packed house today.
The sign on the building is, well, just a big black blob.
But whatever you call it, the customers were pouring into El Chico Ranch for lunch today, and manager Bingo Breshears was delighted.
Who knew it would be this easy? The cost compliance with the injunction is apparently a handful of T-shirts.
The solution to the skin issues for the waitresses, was, the same costume with a strategically placed T-shirt underneath.
And a city of almost 100,000, holds its breath.
And as the parking lot filled up, the reviews started coming in.
And though the menu has been, uh, sanitized and the double entendres removed, the restaurant is pretty much as advertised.
Some came out of curiosity and stayed for the food.
So, the El Chico Ranch is open and apparently everything its owners promised…and less.
A hearing on a permanent injunction comes November 28th, and the final decision on what this bustling eatery will be called, will be decided then.

I am fairly new to the area from DFW. Kuddos to KETK for the wildfire coverage, but not good reporting on this restaurant opening. Very biased, obviously married or has significant relatives who applaud his report when he gets home tonight ("I like how you cleared your throat after calling it Double D's"). What is this called - gray reporting? very disappointing. more like a POV. Is that what this was? a POV?????? My father was a Baptist preacher and he would not approved of this report.
