Royal iPod

AP-President Barack Obama and First lady Michelle gave Queen Elizabeth II a hi-tech gift.

The first family gave Her Royal Highness a video iPod filled with the queens favorite show tunes and video of her 2007 trip to the U.S.

The music player also includes audio of President Obama's 2009 Inauguration Address and a rare musical songbook signed by Richard Rodgers.

We asked some East Texans what they thought about the royal gift.

Here's what they had to say.

"You're bringing old historic into a new modern time and it makes it relevant for her because it hast things on it for what she did last year so it's a good keepsake for her."

"I think its a great gift. I've gotten several as gifts and being a musician myself I think one of the greatest gifts you can give is music."

"Its a unique gift, its probably something she doesn't have so besides that I don't know what you'd get somebody that has all the power in England and can buy anything they want."
