A victory was recorded for East Texas Baptist University in their lawsuit against the Obama Administration's Affordable Care Act.

They filed the lawsuit in October of 2012 and last week the court ruled in their favor against the mandate that made it a requirement to provide abortion inducing drugs on the company insurance plan.

The ruling came down in favor of ETBU on December 27th, making it the ninth case religious plaintiffs have won against The Affordable Care Act.

ETBU President Dub Oliver says being forced to provide emergency contraceptives went against the Christian values of the school and that the win is a victory for Americans, not just his school.

"It's a great moment," said Oliver. "Not just for ETBU, but for religious liberty, and therefore for all Americans."

89 Companies have filed lawsuits against The Affordable Care Act and one is headed to the Supreme court later this year.
