ETMC offers free seminar on heart attack prevention

Tyler, Texas (KETK) — ETMC is offering a free seminar on heart attack prevention.
They will offer the free Knowledge First Forum on heart attack prevention with Dr. Thaddeus Tolleson of Tyler Cardiovascular Consultants on Tuesday, February 11, 2014, at noon in the ETMC Pavilion in Tyler.
Dr. Tolleson will provide an overview of factors that affect your heart, including those that increase your risk for heart disease such as lipids, cholesterol, and more.
"Patients want to know what choices they need to make to reduce their risk of developing heart disease and we will discuss how to keep your heart healthy as you grow older," said Dr. Tolleson.
Dr. Tolleson is board certified in general and Interventional Cardiology as well as Nuclear Cardiology.
He serves as the director of research at Tyler CVC, a Fellow at the American College of Cardiology, and has been with Tyler CVC since 2002.
Lunch will be served and free parking is available next to the Pavilion which is located at 801 Clinic Drive in Tyler.
The gate and building will be open at 11:30 a.m. and the presentation will begin at 12 p.m.
