ETX authorities bust alleged crystal meth deal

Bowie County — Bowie County authorities were able to stop an alleged meth deal near I-30 and Kings Highway.
On June 1, investigators received information that a man driving an SUV would be delivering methamphetamine around 8:00 p.m.
Several law enforcement agencies set up surveillance in the area and were able to spot the suspected vehicle at 8:04 p.m.
The driver, 34-year-old Robert Earl Sanders, of Texarkana, was found with 28 grams of crystal meth, worth about $5,800.
Sanders was charged with possession of a controlled substance. His bond is set at $30,000.
