A family-owned gourmet coffee shop in Tyler has closed its doors.

According to Cole & Company, Caffe Tazza, located at 4815 Old Bullard Road, was closed in the La Piazza Shopping Center.

The Tyler hotspot served coffee, fresh squeezed orange juice and lemonade, premium iced teas, Italian sodas, baked goods, sandwiches, salad, soup and brunch on weekends. Free Wi-Fi was also available for patrons.

Details as to exactly why the shop closed are limited but KETK will update information as it becomes available.

never even heard of this place. Maybe some advertising would help . I know it's expensive to advertise but the location where this shop is probably ate up all the profits. Move to 69 North and I20 and I bet you'll do better. There's no starbucks up there yet as far as I know. Put up a big billboard and travelers will stop there I'm sure!
