ETX man arrested on drug charges and unlawful carrying of a weapon

Lufkin, Texas (KETK) — An East Texas man is now in Angelina County Jail after being found with drugs and a weapon.
Around midnight Saturday, July 13, 2013, Lufkin Police stopped a vehicle in a traffic stop on Lotus Lane with tips leading to possible possession of drugs.
Authorities found Jeremy T. Rogers, 38, in the vehicle.
Officials searched Rogers' car and found .2 grams of Ecstasy.
Rogers was arrested at the scene and booked into Angelina County Jail on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia and unlawful carrying of a weapon.
He is currently being held on a $1,500 bond.
