ETX man dies after flipping car on highway
HARRISON COUNTY, TX (KETK) — A Marshal man died Thursday in a one-vehicle accident where his car flipped after running off a roadway in Harrison County.
According to the Smith County Department of Public Safety, the crash occurred at around 4:30 p.m. on U.S. Highway 80 near mile marker 812. James Henry Wilder's car-- for unknown reasons --crossed into the opposite lane and off the road, where he hit a concrete culvert and flipped.
Wilder was pronounced dead at the scene by Judge Megan Tinson. His body was taken to the Meadowbrook Funeral Home in Marshall.
It is not known if the driver was wearing a seatbelt at the time of wreck.
