ETX man sentenced to 50 months in prison for drug trafficking violations

Tyler, Tx (KETK) — A Gregg County man was sentenced to 50 months in prison for methamphetamines violations.
Jason Ray Ragan, 26, of Longview, pleaded guilty on February 6, 2013 to possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine and was sentenced to 50 months in federal prison today by U.S. District Judge Leonard E. Davis.
According to information presented in court, on August 2, 2012, Ragan was found in possession with 8 grams of methamphetamines. A federal indictment was announced on September 12, 2012 charging Ragan and another with federal drug crimes.
Jason Clinton Squires, pleaded guilty on April 16, 2013 to assisting to manufacture, distribute, and possess with intent to distribute methamphetamines. Squires is still waiting for sentencing.
