Firefighters in a small East Texas town are mourning the loss of one of their own after he was tragically killed in a wrong-way wreck Monday night.

According to the Timpson Volunteer Fire Department, Jordon LeBlanc, 19, of Center, died at the scene of a three-vehicle wreck on Highway 59 near the Panola County and Shelby County line.

LeBlanc was headed home from work when he was hit by an alleged drunken driver traveling in the wrong lane, said TVFD.

The driver accused of causing the accident, 63-year-old Jackie Randall Price, of Spring, was also killed when his truck struck LeBlanc's car head-on, according to the Longview News Journal. A third driver also suffered minor injuries.

The unit publicly thanked everyone for their support during this time.

LeBlanc was TVFD's Rookie of the Year.
