(KETK) New London Tx — A gathering this weekend will commemorate the anniversary of the 1937 New London School explosion.

The meeting and memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the school, 10705 S. Main, followed by a barbecue luncheon at 12:30 p.m. A more elaborate dinner-dance reunion will be at the Henderson Civic Center at 6 p.m. Saturday. There is no charge to attend the meeting and memorial service. Cost for the lunch is $11 and for the dinner-dance is $35.
