Longview — A former Longview 911 emergency supervisor pleaded guilty Thursday to shooting his police officer wife to death and was sentenced to 20 years in prison.

Harry Chester Goodan, 42, must serve half the sentence before being eligible for parole under the plea agreement he reached with prosecutors. As part of the agreement, District Judge Alfonso Charles accepted that the crime occurred in a moment of sudden passion which placed 20 years at the top of the sentencing range.
