Teacher under fire for taking a sixth-grader to lunch

Houston — The Houston Chronicle is reporting; Former Mayor Bill White's son, a teacher, is under fire for taking a sixth-grade student out to lunch without permission.

William White, a 25-year-old Teach for America corps member at YES Public's North Forest ISD campus, took an 11-year-old student to a Pappas Bar-B-Q.
