TYLER — KTBB’s Dr. Bob Peters continues to monitor Hurricane Isaac and its potential impact on East Texas. Peters predicted Isaac would make landfall over the central Louisiana coast. He said the storm would then move northwestward, then northward, coming to within about 175 miles of Tyler on Thursday. Peters says it will be breezy the next two or three days in East Texas, with a “pretty good crack at some rain Thursday and Thursday evening,” amounting to about half an inch in the immediate Tyler area.
