Famous ship that sank during Sandy was headed to Galveston

Bounty sank Monday about 90 miles southeast of Cape Hatteras, N.C.
Galveston — The Houston Chronicle is reporting; the replica of the tall ship HMS Bounty was to have been a boon to Galveston's winter tourist season, an attraction for visitors eager to walk the decks where Marlon Brando, portraying the mutinous Lt. Fletcher Christian, confronted the tyrannical Capt. Bligh.
