Tyler Police were called to the 1600 block of Vine street around 10:53 Sunday night.

Officers arrived and found 39 year old Nikeisha Smith of Tyler deceased. 

 Officers say Smith was crossing the roadway when she was struck.

The driver of the vehicle in the accident was not issued any citations.
