As expected, the FDA has approved the Swine Flu vaccine.

The announcement was made Tuesday.

Preliminary results from clinical trials of the vaccine show, one dose of the shot can generate immunity in eight to ten days, rather than the 21 days experts originally expected.

The vaccine will be available, for free, to everyone.

However, those considered high risk are the first in line.

I just got back from getting my regular flu shot at ETMC and my doctor told me that he would not take the H1N1 shot when it gets here because it has not been tested enough from the FDA due to the possible quick outbreak of H1N1 and could have serious side effects. He said we might as well be lab test rats.Thats pretty scary to think about but I still may take the chance. He did say if a person has serious health proublems then thay should go for it.
