FEMA Center Opens In Smith County

TYLER - The FEMA Disaster Recovery Center in Gregg County is relocating to a new site in Smith County.
The new center opened on Saturday in Whitehouse.
Officials tell KETK that they will be there until Monday.
FEMA officials will provide face-to-face assistance to those who suffered damage from Hurricane Ike.
The facility is on Terry Street.
Residents are encouraged to register with FEMA before visiting a center.

Both numbers are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week until further notice.
